Our Poppy is made from reclaimed metal and copper. It’s highly polished and finished with a protective lacquer. This gift is for those looking for a special gift, poppies are a symbol of remembrance but also of peace, goodwill, and good luck. 

Poppies are well known for their symbolism in remembrance for those who have died in service of our country. Since Ancient times poppies have been placed on tombstones to represent Eternal Sleep and associated with sleep and dreams. This enchanting and delicate flower is also a symbol of peace and goodwill. Poppy’s are also a happy flower that brings joy, its bright red colour is seen as lucky in many cultures and it’s said to attract love, luck, fertility and money if you carry the seeds in your pocket.

• We can take commissions for a similar piece but we can add a larger base for a personalised plaque.
• Each one is handmade and as such they will vary slightly in colour and composition, making for a unique gift.
