Our Twin Hearts are made from upcycled horseshoes and metal. The hearts are hand-forged into shape using traditional methods. As each piece is handmade they will vary slightly in size, shape and colour making each one a lovely gift. All the metal is then highly polished and finished with a protective lacquer. 

Brides are traditionally gifted a horseshoe as they arrive as she prepares to walk up the aisle. They were long believed to bring the couple good luck and fertility in their marriage. Horseshoes are traditionally given to newlyweds to bring them luck, good fortune and fertility. After the wedding they would keep these horseshoes and have them in their homes to bring good luck and good fortune.

Details: 

  • Roughly 15cm H  x 15cm L (however this varies depending on your own shoes if you choose to use them)
  • Each one is handmade and as such they will vary slightly in colour and composition, making for a unique gift.
  • Personalised plaques can be ordered separately.
